We meet every Wednesday at 6pm in Calmecac (lower Aztec Center).
Circle K is the largest collegiate service organization in the world. Our three main focuses are Service, Leadership, and Fellowship. In short, we are a club of people that are helping out the community while having fun.
Circle K meetings are held every Wednesday at 6pm in Calmecac. That is on the lower level of the Aztec Center. For better directions from where you are, email Ari Chessen, the president of our club, at sdsucirclekpres@yahoo.com.
Though we do think that attending meetings is important (both informative and fun), attending them doesn't stop you from doing service. You can still be informed through our emails (just join the mailing list up above), by checking our events page, and reading newsletters about the events we do. You are more than welcome to participate in any event we have, just let us know which one you'd like to do.
Kiwanis is an International service organization that mostly concentrates on helping youth. You can find out more about Kiwanis at www.kiwanis.org. Circle K is Kiwanis sponsored and the specific Kiwanis club that looks over us is the Grantville Allied Gardens Club.
The first step to joining Circle K is to make contact with us. Either by going to a meeting or emailing Ari at sdsucirclekpres@yahoo.com>. Then see if you like what you see. If you do, then all you have to do is fill out a new member form and pay dues. Then you're in.
$35 FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR. What a deal!
Dues allow a Circle Ker to go to District and International events. This is a great way for our members to make friends and contacts with other schools. Also, being a dues paid member, you are eligible for scholarships from our sponsering Kiwanis as well as Circle International Scholoarships. Great stuff!
Ask us! Either find one us around school, come to a meeting, or email Ari at sdsucirclekpres@yahoo.com.
